One word, experience. Our sourcing team are experts across vintage categories and have sorted through thousands of items. We've inspected the quality and feel of vintage fabrics, documented garment tags, and built a repository of knowledge across the decades for many brands. We can spot a fake, reproduction or a newbie posing as vintage like you wouldn't believe. It's this collective experience that we use to authenticate a garment as true GOAT Vintage. It's got to be at least 20 years old too, if it's not, we won't list it. If we're not sure, we don't include it.
The quality is highly wearable with light use, and that covers most of our garments. We also get brand new deadstock vintage, but that's not the majority. We also get super beaten up vintage, which we repurpose into our +REwork line. We wash and de-pill everything, stain-treat, steam-clean and mend where needed. Listen, there may be some character-building tiny paint spatters on vintage tees or prick sized holes, but that's what you get with a 1970's band tee and we wouldn't have it any other way. So, we won't take away the essence of the garment but we will mend and repair to make sure you can wear it without any issues. Same for our +REwork line, everything is upcycled to feel brand new (even though it isn't) and that's the beauty!
You betcha! Everything is washed, de-pilled, stain-treated and steam-cleaned where needed. We want you to feel like you're wearing close to new, and that means we ensure our quality remains high. You'll also see some mending that we do to rescue really great vintage pieces so they don't end up in landfill, but that's all in the name of circular sustainable fashion.
We individually measure each of our items and this information is provided right next to the product listing. We recommend measuring yourself to ensure you're getting the right size. Generally, we do pit to pit measurements for tees, sweatshirts. For denim, we provide waist and inseam measurements. For our +REwork line, refer to our size guides page at the footer.
We will be packing it for you within 2-4 business days and ship based on your selected method of shipping. You can always send us a message, but try to wait for at least 2-4 days to receive a shipment notification. If you're in dire need of your vintage (we get it), then see next question.

We cover all duties and taxes to your door, so shop as you would within Canada. We provide tracked shipping service using Chit Chats Express and Canada Post. Shop happy!
Yes we do! We even ship to APO mailboxes. We highly recommend leaving your contact phone number in case we need to call you as carriers have any queries about your address. Carriers also require your phone number on the shipping manifest, so do us a solid and leave those digits at checkout.
While we do accept international returns, we ask that you provide a tracked return to us and once received, a full item refund will be provided. Please email us with your order number to start the international returns flow: firstname.lastname@example.org
Oh no! We understand how frustrating it can be when you have your heart set on an item and you go to buy it and it’s no longer there BUT that is what happens sometimes when you are shopping vintage and most of our styles are unique one-off fantastic items. This is why you need to act quickly and buy it before someone else falls in love with that great item! We add products all the time so you might just find something similar to what you were looking for. The good news about our +REwork line is that we do make multiples, so you can definitely cop a similar style.
